Super insightful, thanks! I must admit my thinking had naturally veered to "rest, recover so you can resume" when really "rest, recover and change things for the better" makes a lot more sense! 🙌

Thanks for your comment - and absolutely, I think I only made the connection myself because the 'rest' stuff wasn't working for me. The resetting, however, seems to be :)

Ooooffff. Yes to not just taking a break and heading back into the burn out factory. It’s very difficult to create a new world in the thick of this one. Thanks for your words.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, it's so tempting to think that the best way forward is just to keep doing what we've been doing, faster and harder. I totally believe that we've been trained to think that way, but that it's only when we can take a step back and disengage that we can create the space for something new.

I have a whole lotta things to say about expectations, boundaries and all that jazz cos yeah, burnout is a first class a-hole! However we got there, it takes some serious unwinding of patterns and behaviour. Especially around what we’ve been brought up to believe about soooo many things.

Hello, we’re not men so why are we trying to exist in a world built by them and for them?! Complete rebuilding from the ground up and taking it slow.

Here for it.

Thinking of you, mate xx
